11:00 RADIO OFFBEAT from the Cleveland Institute of Music with Merry Peckham: Queen of the Keys, Joela Jones - The principal keyboardist of The Cleveland Orchestra traveled the coasts of America as a child prodigy, a trip that led to encounters with some of the all-time greats of classical music. She'll share her stories, her music and some of her other lesser-known talents during this encore presentation of Offbeat.

Richard Wagner: Parsifal (1882)
The 2012-13 Metropolitan Opera Radio Broadcast season continues with a live broadcast of Wagner’s Parsifal. Tenor Jonas Kaufmann sings the title role in a new staging of Wagner’s final opera, conducted by Daniele Gatti and directed by François Girard in his Met debut. The extraordinary cast of stars also includes soprano Katarina Dalayman as the mysterious Kundry; baritone Peter Mattei in his role debut as Amfortas, the wounded leader of the Knights of the Holy Grail; bass René Pape as the wise knight Gurnemanz; and bass-baritone Evgeny Nikitin as the evil sorcerer Klingsor. The performance will also be transmitted worldwide as part of The Met: Live in HD series, which now reaches more than 1,900 movie theaters in 64 countries.
The intermissions will include backstage interviews with the artists led by HD host, bass-baritone Eric Owens, Met General Manager Peter Gelb who will discuss the Met’s 2013-14 season which was announced earlier in the week, and the popular Toll Brothers-Metropolitan Opera Quiz.
