THE CLEVELAND ORCHESTRA 2011 BROADCAST SERIES
Although we're pretty fond of John Adams' popular "Guide to Strange Places," if we were to give a name to the 2011 Cleveland Orchestra broadcast series, it might be "Guide to Venerable Places." Concerts in this series were recorded live at Carnegie Hall, the Edinburgh Festival, Vienna's Musikverein, in the Theatre Champs-Elysees, at Knight Concert Hall in Miami, and of course, at Severance Hall. This spectacular season culminates with Music Director, Franz Welser-Möst’s fully-staged "Don Giovanni." (See detailed Program Listings.)
