2011 VALENTINE'S DAY LOVE POEM CONTEST

It's that time of the year, again. Time for WCLV's ever-popular Valentine's Day Contest, which has brightened January and February since 1998.

WCLV listeners are invited to create a love poem, fourteen lines or less, any style, form, rhymed or unrhymed.

DEADLINE: Midnight, February 8, 2011 

The ten winning poems will be aired on WCLV, Sunday, February 13th and Monday,
February 14th, and published on the WCLV website for all to read and hear.

In addition to international fame, the prizes are:

The ten finalists each receive the debut CD release by Vittoirio Grigolo  - The Italian Tenor from Sony Classics

Nine finalists will each receive a pair of tickets for the February 14th Severance Hall recital by Mitsuko Uchida

Second place poet receives two tickets to the Cleveland Orchestra's February 14th Gala with pre-concert cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, box seats for the Mitsuko Uchida recital, complimentary champagne at intermission and dinner in the Founders Gallery.

The Grand Prize is An Enchanted Evening in the Presidential Suite at The Ritz Carlton, Cleveland, featuring access to the Club Lounge, offering five food presentations, personal concierge service, rose petal decoration at turndown, champagne, chocolate strawberries, valet parking and a delicious breakfast..
