CELLIST GOES OFFSTAGE TO PERFORM BACH AT SUPERMARKET
It’s the cool thing to do something different with classical music these days. Cellist Alban Gerhardt will do just that when he goes “Off Stage” to perform Bach cello suites at Dave’s Supermarket in Ohio City this Wednesday at 5:30. Co-sponsored by WCLV and presented as a part of The Cleveland Orchestra’s Community Initiative, the concert cellist will trade his tux for jeans and be surrounded by produce instead of an orchestra.
