WCLV MEDIA SPONSOR OF TEE OFF ON LEUKEMIA

WCLV is the media sponsor of the 4th annual Tee Off on Leukemia, to be held September 25, 2010, at Barrington Golf and Country Club in Aurora.

WCLV and the organization hope to support new victories for the thousands of children and adults diagnosed with blood cancer each year. With your help, we can find better treatments and effective cures. Join us for golf and you will meet a blood cancer champion from Northeast Ohio, or purchase a ticket for dinner and live and silent auctions in which you can bid on everything from trips to golf merchandise to locally created art.

All proceeds will benefit the Meredith A. Cowden Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit that provides funding to the Northern Ohio Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, as well as research to aid in the cure of blood cancers and of the effects of treatment. Your help is needed more than ever. Cancer does not stop because of difficult economic times. Famiies and patients who are afflicted with the terrible mental and physical devastation caused by blood cancer cannot give up their fight, and we're not giving up either!
