WCLV celebrates the July 4th Holiday
with two live broadcasts. The first,
The Cleveland Orchestra's annual
Public Square concert, takes place
on Monday, July 2nd with WCLV
and sister station WCPN taking
to the air at 9:00 PM.
Jahja Ling, conducts, Janice

TCHAIKOVSKY: Festival Overture: The Year 1812
On July 4th, WCLV presents an American Music Festival, with two special salutes by the Cincinnati Pops, narrated by Robert Conrad. Both will celebrate the holiday with appropriate selections conducted by Erich Kunzel. The first will be heard from 6:00 to 8:00 AM and from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. The second will also be heard twice, 9:00 to 11:00 AM and 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Other special holiday features include three Songs of America programs with Thomas Hampson as host. At 11:00 AM, music by Stephen Foster will be aired; at1:00 PM, a program called War Cries; and at 10:30 PM, Songs We''ve AlwaysSung. At 4:00 to 6:00 PM, Music of Leroy Andrson in Concert will be broadcast.
