The ten winners and guests of WCLV's "Have Dinner with Robert Conrad" Contest gathered at the Blossom Grill on Saturday, July 18, 2009, for dinner ad a concert by The Cleveland Orchestra conducted by Franz Welser-Möst. During dinner, WCLV's president discussed the backstory of WCLV, The Cleveland Orchestra and its conductors and the program of the evening. Each winner received the Orchestra's recording of the Shostakovich Symphony No. 5, a piece that was on the program along with Beethoven's Violin Concerto. The winners were Lori Needham of Strongsville; Doug Chamot of, Lakewood; Jim Gentile of Cleveland; Kevin Hoga of Euclid; and John Benson of Middleburg Heights.
