THE NEW JERSEY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA TO WAKE YOU UP ON SATURDAYS

WCLV adds the New Jersey Symphony broadcast series to its schedule on Saturdays at 6:00 AM as of April 3rd.

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra has named Jacques Lacombe as its Music Director Designate and Neeme Jaervi as its Conductor Laureate. Both will be highlighted as conductors during WCLV's broadcasts of the New Jersey "Boys." Three names familiar to Cleveland will also be featured - Andrew Grams and James Gaffigan, formerly on the conducting staff of The Cleveland Orchestra, and pianist Per Tengstrand, 1997 Gold Medal winner of the Cleveland International Piano Competition.

To best serve the people of New Jersey, the Orchestra takes its programs to seven different venues throughout the state. The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra broadcast series is presented by the Merck Company Foundation.
