2010 VALENTINES DAY LOVE POEM CONTEST
WCLV’s annual Valentine’s Day Love Poem
Contest. is up and running. Here’s your
chance to indulge in writing about the universal
emotion.
Create an original poem, any style, any format,
but no longer than fourteen lines and submit it
to WCLV by midnight, Sunday, February 7th.
The ten winning poems will be read on WCLV
with appropriate feeling by Jacqueline Gerber
and Robert Conrad, Saturday, February 13th and
Sunday, February 14th and posted on this
WCLV website for all of the world see and
enjoy, resulting in universal honor.
In addition there are a number of more down-to-earth prizes:
* An enchanted evening romance package including deluxe accommodations for two
with a rose-petal turn-down, champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and breakfast
(from the Ritz-Carlton).
* A pair of tickets to The Cleveland Orchestra's April concert conducted by Semyon
Bychkov for each of the ten honored poets.
* A pair of vouchers good for tickets to any Cleveland Play House production.
* Love music from assorted compact discs for each poet.
