THE BBC PROMS RETURN TO WCLV'S AIRWAVES

The BBC Proms is the world's largest and best known classical music festival, and invitations to perform at it are once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, although The Cleveland Orchestra has been there many times. The 2009 BBC PRoms began on July 17th and will conclude on Saturday, September 12 with the famous "Last Night of the Proms", which WCLV will broadcast live beginning at 2:00 PM. This is an exciting event, and when the audience joins in on "Rule Britannia" and "Land of Hope and Glory," you just might wish the Revolution hadn't been so successful. .
