WCLV AT CAIN PARK ART FESTIVAL, 2009

It rained like crazy for about two hours on Saturday morning, July 11th. But that didn't stop the Cain Park Arts Festival and WCLV's live reports. WCLV's Jacqueline Gerber soldiered through, although somewhat damp, interviewing artists and Arts Festival officials.

Here are some photo glimpses.

Jacqueline Gerber talking with wrought
iron artist Gavin Lehman of Medina.
That's WCLV Sales Assistant Narda
Dixon and audio engineer Ray
LaShure in the background. The
plastic wrap was protecting the
proceedings from the rain.
Jackie fencing with Cleveland Heights
City Councilman Mark Tumeo, who
talked about the importance of
Cain Park and the Arts Festival to
the city.
Bob Pozarski, stained glass artist
from Akron, holds one of his works
up to the microphone for the
listeners to see.

Stepahnie Pierson-Hutson of Fishers,
Indiana, allows Jackie to tickle one
of her ceramic blowfish. She also
let Jackie stick her finger in the
fish's mouth.

Eric and Kritin Wornson of Minneapolis
discribe to Jackie how they press flowers in phone books for their jewelry.

  Ksenia Roshcahkovsy, manager
for public relations and marketing
for Cain Park, tells all to Jackie.
