THE 2009 WCLV  BLOSSOM BROADWAY BABIES

On Sunday, July 12, the twenty WCLV winners of this year's Blossom Broadway Babies contest were treated to The Cleveland Orchestra's Rodgers and Hammerstein concert, refreshments at the Kulas Plaza during intermission. When they arrived at Blossom, they had their pictures taken with costumed WCLV personalities (worth the price of admission, alone) and received their own Broadway Baby mini-costumes depicting characters in one of the featured R & H musicals - The Sound of Music, South Pacific, Oklahoma, The King and I and Carousel.   Appropriately costumed, all sat together and dreamed of footlights and rave reviews while listening to The Cleveland Orchestra play selected all-time favorites from the beloved musicals.
