WCLV ASKS YOU AID THE CLEVELAND ORCHESTRA AND CLEVELAND POPS' FOOD DRIVE

One in eight Americans is at risk of hunger.
36 million people. 12 million are children.
This month, The Cleveland Orchestra and
The Cleveland Pops Orchestra are
partnering with the Cleveland Foodbank
to participate in Orchestras Feeding America
—the first national food drive by more than
200 of America’s symphony orchestras.
Non-perishable food donations will be
collected at Musical Rainbow performances
on Friday, March 27, and Saturday, March 28; and the Orchestra’s performances of The Marriage of Figaro on Friday, March 27 and Sunday, March 29. Food donations will also be accepted during Ticket Office hours March 27-March 29 in Severance Hall’s Smith Lobby. You may also bring food to the Cleveland Pops' concert at Severance Hall on Saturday, April 4th.
The collected food will be donated to the Cleveland Foodbank. For information about the types of food that can be accepted, visit www.clevelandorchestra.com.
Shirley Morgenstern of The Cleveland Pops and Lisa Judge, TCO’s Education Coordinator,
will talk to Bill O'Connell about Orchestras Feeding America during WCLV's Drive Time on Wednesday, March 25th. |
