WCLV and the Ohio Music Education Association
are pleased to recognize the following high school
seniors who have earned a
Superior rating in OMEA's
Solo & Ensemble adjudicated events for School
Districts IV and
VII. Here is a listing of WCLV's High
School Instrumental and Vocal All Stars of Northeast
Ohio. Each All-Star received a certificate from WCLV

  • Allie McNab, piano.  A student at Padua Franciscan High School.  Allie’s instructor is Katherin De Blasi.

 

  • Jaime Furda, soprano, from Valley Forge High School in Parma.  Jaime’s instructor is Jared Plasterer.

 

  • Irene Moeller, vocalist at Independence High School.  Kendal Gunlicks, instructor.

 

  • Ben Goldsberry, baritone from Bay High School where Deron T. Gess and Darren Allen are the music instructors.

 

  • Nicole Futoran, soprano.  Nicole’s instructor at Midpark High School is Catherine Robison-Ranney.

 

  • Kaitlin Crowley, clarinet.  Her Bay High School instructors are Deron T. Gess and Darren Allen.

  • Dawn Culp, soprano from Valley Forge High School.  The instructor is Jared Plasterer.

 

  • Alex Bade, a member of Berea High School’s orchestra.  Dee Wesoloski is the Orchestra Director.  

            Caitlin Doyle, vocalist.  Caitlyn’s instructor at North Ridgeville High School is     
            William E. Davis III.

 

  • Derrick Lee Grand, vocalist from Shaw High School.  Derrick’s instructor is Mrs. “Al” Crump Madison.

 

  • Megan McNulty, flute.  Megan is a Senior at Elyria High School where Dr. Mark Jessie and Mrs. Sarah Mille are instructors.

 

  • Rich Mazzola, clarinet.  Rich’s instructor at Padua Franciscan High School is Katherine De Blasi.

 

  • Another clarinetist from Padua Franciscan High School is one of our All Stars – Catherine Conlin.  Catherine also plays alto saxophone. 

 

  • Meghan Offtermatt, vocalist from West Geauga High School where Frank Cosenza and Beth Singer are music instructors.

 

  • Greg Laubacher, trumpet.  Greg is from Amherst Steele High School, and his instructor there is Christopher Barbaro.

 

  • Kelsey Veliconia, piccolo player at Elyria High School where the band directors are Dr. Mark Jessie and Mrs. Sarah Miller.

 

  • Jennifer Phillip, soprano, Valley Forge High School.  The instructor at Valley Forge is Jared Plasterer.

 

  • Justin Wendzicki, a violinist from Padua Franciscan High School.  Katherine DeBlasi, instructor.

 

  • Bryan Scotton, vocalist.  Bryan is from Independence High School, and Kendal L. Gunlicks is his instructor.
