CLEVELAND ORCHESTRA AND WCLV OFF TO MIAMI
The Cleveland Orchestra and WCLV
are off to Miami for the Orchestra's third
annual residency at the Knight Concert Hall.
WCLV will broadcast all three of the
Saturday concerts live to Cleveland,
beginning with the January 31st program.
Robert Conrad will be the commentator.
Durng the residency, The Miami City Ballet
and The Cleveland Orchestra will launch
a new partnership with the See The Music,
Hear The Dancing performance and benefit dinner January 29, 2009, at the Adrienne Arsht Center.
Chamber music performances and discussions will take place at the Wolfsonian-Florida International University and a Music and the Brain dialogue with Music Director Franz Welser-Möst and Ali R. Rezai, MD, director of Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Neurological Restoration, at Books and Books
Collaborations will continue and expand with the New World Symphony, University of Miami Frost of School of Music, and area schools
