WCLV/HANSON SERVICES VIDEO SHOOT IN FLORIDA

Hanson Services has been a major WCLV advertiser for seven years, so when Hanson asked WCLV President Robert Conrad and his wife Jean to particpate in a video shoot at the Conrad's condo on the Gulf Coast in Florida, he was happy to do so.  The video was produced for showing on the Healthcare News Network in Florida, which provides health related programming for TV sets in doctors' offices and hospital waiting rooms.

Here are some scenes of the shoot which took about two hours starting at high noon on a very sunny and warm day in Florida.

Bob and Jean Conrad rehearse their
lines for the Hanson Services video,
sitting on the deck in front of their
Gulf Coast condo.

A crew member sets the light
reflector panel for a tracking
shot by the camera down the
boardwalk.

The crew getting set for the next
shot. It was 85 degrees on the beach,
and the light reflector increased
the temperature in the area to
over 100 degrees.

And this is what the camera is
going to film - Ann Leininger of Hanson
Services' Ft. Myers' office, and Jean
Conrad, preparing to move toward
the camera, up the boardwalk.

Ann and the Conrads (Jean is
hidden behind Bob) begin their
walk towards the camera.

The Conrads and James Borcherdt,
the head of the Heathcare News
Network, relaxing after the shoot
is completed.  Doing a video is
considerably more difficult and time
consuming than radio, what with
the plethera of equipment and the
many retakes necessary when the
sun disappears behind a cloud,
a beach person walks in front of
the camera, and "Let's try that line
again...and this time smile a little more. ..."
