Be a Blossom Broadway Baby
If you’re the kind of person who belts out show tunes in the
shower, you’re just the kind of person who might qualify to be a
Blossom Broadway Baby at the September 1 st concert, “Rodgers and Hammerstein on Stage and Screen.” WCLV’s Bill Rudman, whose program Footlight Parade is heard Saturdays at 6:00 PM, will introduce the concert
from the stage.
For a chance to win a pair of tickets, send an email to bbb@wclv.com or a postcard to: “Broadway Baby” c/o WCLV, 26501 Renaissance Parkway, Cleveland, 44128.
When you arrive at Blossom, you’ll have your picture taken with Bill Rudman and costumed WCLV hosts and receive your own Broadway Baby mini costume depicting a character in one of the featured musicals - State Fair, The Sound of Music, South Pacific, Oklahoma, The King and I and Carousel. Appropriately adorned, we’ll all sit together and dream of footlights and rave reviews while we listen to the Festival Orchestra accompany favorite scenes from musicals on Blossom’s big screens. And guys. You can be Broadway Babies, too. Obviously, a sense of humor is mandatory for both winners and their guests who will be costumed, as well.
At intermission, we’ll all visit Kulas plaza to toast your newfound stardom.
Eighteen winners will be randomly chosen. Entry deadline – 5 pm August 24th
