WCLV CELEBRATES JULY 4TH
WCLV celebrates the July 4th Holiday with several special broadcasts. On July 3rd, at 8:00 PM, we'll air a live broadcast of the Blossom Festival Band concert from Blossom Music Center conducted by Loris John Schissel. Also on the program, The Hellcats Drum and Bugle Corps of the West Point Military Academy.

On July 5th, at 9:00 PM, WCLV will broadcast live the annual Cleveland Orchestra Public Square Concert conducted by Music Director Franz Wesler-Moest. The program includes:
Smith: "Star Spangled Banner"
Copland: "Fanfare for the Common Man"
Tchaikovsky's "Marche slav"
Strauss, J., Jr.: "Die Fledermaus" Overture
Prokofiev: "Romeo and Juliet" Overture
Wagner: "Ride of the Valkyries"
Tchaikovsky’s “1812” Overture.
Elgar: "Pomp and Circumstance" March No. 1
Sousa: "Stars and Stripes Forever"
And July 3, 4 and 5, we'll present our traditional Festival of American Music, including a Cinncinnati Pops Fourth of July Spectacular at 1:00 PM on Independence Day. .
