 WCLV VALKYRIES AT BLOSSOM MUSIC FESTIVAL

We had a wonderful time Saturday, August 5th at The Cleveland Orchestra Blossom Festival concert devoted to operatic orchestral music, including Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries." In honor of the occasion, WCLV held a competition, choosing 15 WCLV listeners to attend the concert, take home Telarc's "Ring without Words" CD and wear a WCLV Valkyrie Helmet during the playing of the Wagner piece. Our honorary Valkyries looked absolutely splendid in their magic helmets, which were the envy of all in attendance. You'll find pictures from the event in the WCLV Photo Gallery.
