Michael Charry, author of an authoritative biography of legendary Cleveland Orchestra musical director George Szell, was in town the week of November 7th to give the pre-concert talks at Severance Hall and to sign copies of his book called George Szell, a Life in Music and is published by the University of Illinois Press. He and WCLV's Robert Conrad presented a hour special edition of Cleveland Orchestra Archives on Friday, November 11, 2010.
