ALL-CLEVELAND ORCHESTRA ALL DAY ON THANKSGIVING

Taking a cue from the cable networks who offer
marathons of TV series on holidays, such as Monk,
NCIS and House, WCLV presents it's annual all day
and night marathon of Cleveland Orchestra broadcasts
on Thanksgiving Day, beginning at 6:00 AM and running
to Midnight. You'll hear eight full length concerts from
2010 and 2011, with conductors Franz Welser-Moest,
Christoph von Dohnanyi, Leonard Bernstein (an archival
re-broadcast), Giancarlo Guerrero, and James Feddeck,
Other than Severance Hall concert, there will be
broadcasts from Miami, Vienna, Paris, a Cleveland
Orchestra Youth Orchestra program, and a archival
concert from Blossom with Bernstein conducting the Mahler Symphony No. 2 "Resurection."
Soloists will include pianist Joela Jones, violinist Augustin Hadelich, soprano Malin Hartelist, baritone, pianist Leif Ove Andsnes and Simon Keenlyside, .
Almost all of WCLV's normal weekday programming will be cancelled to make way for this unique Orchestra presentation.
