JIM MEHRLING, PRODUCTION MANAGER

WCLV's Production Manager is one of Cleveland's great radio voices. His sound is well known through his many years at WERE, prior to joining WCLV. Now he voices and produces many WCLV commercials and promos with the professionalism and creativity that continue to be his hallmark.

Jim met his wife Connie while both were attending Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea. Connie is a music teacher and choir director and gives private voice lessons. Incidentally, although Jim has been with WCLV full time since 1993, he worked part-time for the station when he was in college. Jim and Connie's first date was a concert at Blossom Music Center, using comp tickets from WCLV!

Though he played trumpet in band in college, Jim is no longer an active musician. In addition to his duties at WCLV, he also serves as MC for the summer Lakewood Home Town Band Concerts for the city of Lakewood. And he produces a high school academic quiz program, heard on WEOL (AM) in Lorain/Elyria.
